Nivedita Adams is the Programme Manager of Bachelors in Vocational Programme and Childcare​​ vertical at the National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences (NISWASS) Hub in Partnership with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai (TISS). Nivedita has earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from NISWASS and Master of Philosophy in Gender Studies from Berhampur University.  She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Women’s Studies from Berhampur University. She has more than a decade’s experience in teaching and training child protection, gender issues and counseling at various reputed institutions along with monitoring, supervising and evaluating counselors. She has published papers and articles in reputed academic and professional journals and has attended many national and international conferences. Along with her role as an academician, she works with different departments of the government and NGOs in taking the initiatives ahead. During her tenure, NISWASS has been Awarded as the ‘Best Training Hub Partner’ of TISS.
