SOCIAL COMMUNICATION
The Department of Social Communications at NISWASS is an organ of liaison and collaboration among the future social development policy makers, the professionals who will carry out the programmes and the beneficiaries. It coordinates and evaluates media and communication activities and helps in setting up viable structures of communications between policy makers and the target population. The mission of the Department is to develop communication culture among the weaker sections and to educate communication managers to the highest standard and enrich international Social Sciences with original studies in the communication field. The programme is permanently recognised and affiliated by the Government of Orissa and the Utkal University.
MA Degree in Social Communication
The College admits graduates from science and humanities streams and awards MA Degree in Social Communication. The College has been permanently recognized and affiliated by the Government of Orissa and the Utkal University respectively.
