Praveen Kumar is Head of the Department of Buddhist studies and Associate professor in Buddhist studies and Pail at National Institute of Social Work and Social sciences. Dr. Kumar obtained his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History, Master of Arts, Philosophy and Doctoral degrees from Delhi University in Buddhist studies and Pali language. He has attended several national conferences across the country. He is a full-time member of Indian society for Buddhist studies. His articles on the different aspect of Buddhism has been published in various national and international journals. He is the author of Buddhism in Odisha.
